Led on a Journey with Jesus

I’m back at playing online games again! And look what I’ve just found out:

Yes! A new RPG (role-playing game) rolled out in Facebook in which you can play as one of the characters that goes to travel where Jesus traveled during His time. It’s like a dream come true for me as I can help complete some of tasks for Him and for His disciples and the people around Him =)

The game would actually require you to be patient as you will have to complete some mini-tasks for other people before you can actually be with Jesus. It can also allow you  to be courageous against the Roman soldiers and the Pharisees who belittles other characters in the game. It can also get you to be adventurous as you can go to new towns and meet new characters that would later become your friends along the way. It’s also a great reminder for those who play the game to recall the important events in Jesus’ life that makes one smile…

But as we all know life of Jesus is not a bed of roses, it’s not a walk in the park, and even with all friends and oppositions He made along the way— this game reminds us that Jesus is with us and tasted also the life we are experiencing right now. He showed up for life…

Let me quote here from a book ‘Showing Up for Life’ by Bill Gates, Sr. in an excerpt in Kitchen Table Wisdom by Dr. Rachel Naomi Remen:

“Life is the ultimate teacher, but it is usually through experience and not scientific research that we discover its deeper lessons. We are all here for a single purpose: to grow in wisdom and learn to love. We can do this through losing as well as through winning, by having and by not having, by succeeding or by failing. All we need to do is to show up openhearted for class… So fulfilling life’s purpose may depend more on how we play than what we are dealt. You have to be present to win.”

…in order to save all of us and who knows Jesus played games too =)
